Carrie Keranen is a Michigan Native who graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Linguistics. After meandering through Europe for a month post graduation, she landed in the Big Apple. There, she started her career New York City career in cartoons voicing characters on shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pokemon, YuGiOh and Winx Club. She has hawked many of your favorite products nationwide on commercials for Reddi Whip, Verizon, BMW and Alka Seltzer among others. She worked almost constantly with amazing writers and directors on stages all over NYC that you have probably never heard of, but maybe your heart and soul cry out for that lack? The TV stuff she’s done that you may recognize (because we all want to feel connected to each other) include FRINGE, ONE LIFE TO LIVE and a COMEDY CENTRAL pilot that you didn’t see but its listed here just so you know she’s funny. Because you can trust the folks at Comedy Central to know a thing or two about funny. Oh and she did stand up. Her recent Internet work (nice that nowadays that DOESN’T mean porn) includes Untitled Web Series About a Space Traveler Who Also Travels Through Time and the upcoming Aperture R&D from Maschinima Prime (though perhaps that hasn’t been announced yet so if it hasn’t, pretend you didn’t read that until the appropriate time). She loved everyone on this project…seriously lots of people say that and don’t really mean it, but she genuinely does. Especially her lovely Co-Lead (see what I did there?) Josh. And her strange, small bladdered but wonderful and kind director, Ryan. So that’s about all you need to know for now, except, before she goes, she’d like to clear up an on set rumor….yes! Yes, she did threaten to start humping members of the crew if she wasn’t supplied with chocolate on Day 4 of shooting. Whew. Now she has a clear conscience.
